The Alexandra kicked off the first of its free music nights with performances from Sunday Club and Brother Goose on Friday. Ed Sawyer reports.
Sunday Club treated a packed audience to a melodic set before the Southampton-based, Brother Goose played their way through an eclectic mix of acoustic and indie rock songs.
Lead vocalist and guitarist, Calum Lintott said: “With all the venues that have recently shut down it’s a big thing to take on, but The Alex and this night has the potential to be very, very successful.
“You can come along, watch some amazing music and – best of all – it’s free!”
Each week the evening will showcase music from across the region. Blind Mans Vision, Dead Phesants and The Hat Cub are set to perform next Friday.
